if endurance is a function of repetition and repetition is the un-avoidable product of the resistance to learning from experience, then character must be a mistake…

(hey, it has been that kind of morning…)

Good to (get back) to the “Project”

Hahaha…great comment. So then, it is our resistance to learning from experience that creates suffering. In a nutshell?

…hey experience is nothing if it is not the (relatively) indelible marks left on the person as the result of living. Ya don’t get lasting experiences if you don’t have one half of the “process” provide resistance. (Ever trying writing in water?) In fact, it would appear that the greater the resistance the longer lasting the experience…suffering I would submit is indirectly the result of insufficient resistance to learning, because it takes resistance to create a lasting experience without which there is no learning…

But seriously, I’ll bet that suffering stems from the mistaken perception of (some)things being viewed as separate from the self. (“you want most the things you can’t have”), desire is rooted in this belief that the object (of the desire) is a thing apart…when it really isn’t.
